My Process
Step 01
Reach Out
Go to my Contact page to send a contact form on my website. And no--you do not need to have a location, time, or date set in stone to contact me, but we can't go past Step 2 until those are set in stone.
Step 02
Plan
This is where we set the details, understand the vision, and plan! I will reach out to you for a Consultation, so I can get to know you and what you're dreaming up. After our Consultation, I'll send you over your final quote to review. I ask for 25% at the time of booking, and the remaining 75% five days before your big day. Once everything is finished, you'll receive a contract to sign, and then you're officially booked!
Step 03
Prepare
Living on the rock, it is so important to prep for your session! Some ways you can prepare for your session include having outfits ready, hair and makeup planned, double check date and time, double check location, and prepare any props or personal items. I will check in with you throughout this time, but don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
Step 04
Session Day
My favorite day! Session day consists of meeting at our planned location at the set time, shooting for the duration of the chosen time, getting creative, and capturing those authentic moments.
Step 05
Getting Your Gallery
My second favorite day! Depending on the season and the type of session, my current turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. Photos are delivered through a digital gallery link sent straight to your email. You are able to send this link to anyone you'd like, but they must have a PIN to download the images. Only you and I have control of who receives this PIN.
FAQ
What is the difference between an elopement and a micro wedding?
The definition of these two weddings vary from each vendor. For my collections, an elopement includes the bride, groom, and up to 10 guests. My micro wedding collection includes the bride, groom, and up to 40 guests. If your guest count is close to that rage and you're unsure where your day fits, we can talk through the details together.
What Factors Impact My Investment?
No wedding is meant to look exactly the same. Your day should reflect what you and your partner truly care about and nothing more. Instead of offering a one-size-fits-all package, my collections are thoughtfully priced around what you want. Coverage length, guest count, travel, and number of locations are just a few of the details that help shape a collection that fits your day.
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
I am based in Kodiak, Alaska, and travel expenses are covered if I am able to arrive at your desired location by car. Travel by air, boat, or hike is not included in my pricing. Travel to multiple locations is not included in my pricing unless otherwise stated. Please inquire for travel in AK, WA, OR, and FL.
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
My current turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. Engagement sessions include 48 hour sneak peeks, and proposals, elopements, and micro weddings include 24 hour sneak peeks.
Can I order prints or albums through you?
At this time, I do not offer prints and albums.
Do you photograph weddings over 40 people?
At this time, I only photograph elopements and micro weddings.
